We welcome Carel Moller, Sean Jordan and Gregory Olkers to the Ilitha Team. Carel Moller joined our team as a Senior Project Coordinator on the 1st July 2008.Carel obtained his N5 Electrical and commenced his career at Somchem in 1981 as an Electrical Apprentice and has remained with that Company for the past 27 years before deciding to join Ilitha. During this period, Carel progressed to Electrician, Electrical & Instrumentation Draughtsperson, Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Draughtsperson, Chief Draughtsperson - Electrical & Instrumentation, Engineering Technician and for the last +10 years has been a Project Engineer & Head of the Design / Drawing Office for Denel Land Systems Western Cape (Part of the same group of Companies). Sean Jordan has been appointed as a Contracts & Proposal Specialist for Ilitha Project Services. He achieved his BSc Engineering (Chemical) at UCT in 1991 and was employed by HALLIBURTON ENERGY SERVICES as a Field Engineer until 1996. During this period Sean worked predominantly in the oil & gas industry and gained valuable work experience in the USA, UK, South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique & Nigeria. Sean then joined AFRICAN OXYGEN LTD in 1997 and for his first two years he was appointed as Account Manager – Western Cape. In 2000 he was promoted to Sales Manager – Food & Agriculture for the Western & Eastern Cape followed by his appointment as Product Manager – Atmospheric Gases & On-sites in 2003. From 2007 until present he has occupied the position of Business Development Manager. Sean is married with two young children and for personal & professional reasons decided to relocate to Cape Town. Gregory (Greg) Olkers has accepted the position of Senior Instrumentation / Control Engineer. He obtained his National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current) in 1999. In 1998 Greg was appointed as a Trainee Instrumentation / Electronics Technician - Offshore with DE BEERS MARINE Pty (Ltd) and has remained with this Company ever since. In 2000 he was appointed as an Instrumentation / Electronics Technician – Offshore where he remained until further promotion to Senior Instrumentation / Electronics Technician – Offshore in 2002. In 2003 Greg accepted the post of Automation & Information Technician – Onshore followed by his promotion to Automation & Information Project Engineer – Onshore in January 2006. He currently occupies the position of Automation & Information Maintenance In-Port Engineer. Greg is married with one young child. |
